Ancient Shaivism and Islam

This is a blog post that is still being composed but below is a list of things that I have so far discovered to be identical between ancient Saivism and Islam.
  1. Reverse circumambulation
  2. way of clothing at Hajj
  3. shaving of head
  4. direction of prayer
  5. burial
  6. the black stone on a silver bowl like object that clearly is a variation of a siva linga on a panavatta
  7. moon as a symbol
  8. 3 times -- for truth
  9. 4 marriages allowed -- only for Brahmins
  10. 7 heavens and 7 hells — Brahmanda Purana
  11. The passion of Shiva worship (63 nayanaars vs 12 alvars)... Asura bhakti same to same with Islam's passion
  12. quran recitation vs sama veda recitation
  13. total 72 denominations
  14.  no alcohol rule
  15. 30 yrs of age in heaven of devatas and of muslims
  16. not doing jumma namaz 3 times is considered you being Kafir, not doing namaz even once is considered impure or something like that. Same with Brahmins, 3 times sandhyavandan is non-negotiable. Not doing even once for that time of the day you are considered a shudra. And not doing sandhyavandan for 3 generations you are out of Brahminhood. and there are other rules.
  17. no music rules
  18. beard rules for muslims, pilaka rules for Brahmins
