 The second habit of Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. And the book written by Simon Sinek starts with the "why". Are essentially saying the same thing. That anything worthwhile in this world that has to sustain has to first understand why we are doing what we are doing. So starting with the end in the mind basically just means to understand what it is that we are trying to achieve. And the Indian Vedic Society starts with that first question to answer. And I bet every religion starts with that. Everybody understood that death is the only reality. That's the end, as far as we can tell. And then we have our own theories that are competing with each other about what happened after the fact. Of course, in the modern world where there are no beliefs anymore and humanity has for the most part started to behave like there is absolutely guaranteed nothing after death.  Simon Sinek wrote a book The Infinite Games. It was one of the best sellers of its time. But the book was about businesses that play the infinite game, emerging as the biggest winners in the long term. But the Rishis have been teaching humans to play the infinite game since before time can track. And that is the whole Alexander and the Yogi podcast, all about yes, being Alexander is tactical, but being the yogi is strategy. And a strategy to play the infinite game. Because what's the point of winning in the short lifespan of ours if you lose the long infinite game that we are all having to play without a choice?
